The Intake Floor

Raw Intake

Every load arrives at the tipping floor as chaos — mixed colors, sizes, contamination levels unknown. Trucks from municipal transfer stations, brewery returns, automotive glass from body shops.

We weigh, log, and assign a stream classification before a single pane touches the sorting belt. Contamination above threshold is quarantined and returned. Clean loads move forward within the hour.

The Wash Room

Washing & Crushing

Glass enters a closed-loop wash system that removes labels, adhesives, and organic residue. Water is recirculated and filtered — nothing leaves the building as effluent.

After washing, a three-stage crusher reduces cullet to the precise gradation your furnace requires: coarse (25–50 mm), medium (10–25 mm), or fine (< 10 mm). Gradation is verified by sieve analysis on every batch.

Optical Sorting

Four optical sorters — each running at 3 tonnes per hour — read every fragment by color and chemical signature. Flint, emerald, amber, and mixed cullet emerge from separate chutes, each stream achieving ≥ 99.2% color purity.

Ceramic, stone, and metal contaminants are rejected by eddy-current and near-infrared sensors. What reaches your furnace is glass, and only glass.
